New Task

ARGH! I am struggling on an idea for the next task, and I am still thinking :(

Hopefully I will have something by Thursday. I will have a chat to friends and family, and see if I can come up with a finalised idea.

I have a slight idea, however I am not going to mention it yet until I have set my mind on it!

You shall all have to wait! Muhaha.

  1. There's no reason why you can't use the Prisoner script again, if you want. Remember - you don't need to spend forever working on a complex narrative; at the end of the day, it just needs to be as simple as someone opening a door, walking across a room and having a brief conversation. I would be looking at about 10 shots at the most basic. It could be as simple as:

EXT.House (ES). Front door (LS). MAN approaches door (enters LS). Takes out key. Puts it in the lock (CU) and turns. Puts hand on door handle (CU). Turns and opens door (LS).

INT. House (LS, Reverse angle). Front door opens. Man enters. Closes door (CU). Walks down hall (Over the Shoulder). Enters kitchen (LS). Crosses to table. WOMAN is sitting at table. MAN and WOMAN face each other (LS, 2shot).

MAN. (CU, OTS woman) So, you're back
    WOMAN. (CU, OTS man) Obviously
MAN. (CU, OTS woman) I didn't expect you
WOMAN. (CU, OTS man) No reason why you should

MAN and WOMAN face each other (LS, 2shot).

    MAN. (CU, OTS woman) So...
    WOMAN. (CU, OTS man) Yes?
MAN. (CU, OTS woman - pause) We need to talk.
WOMAN. (CU, OTS man - pause) Yes.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Thank you very much for your extremely detailed advice! After a long, hard and stressful night, I have finally come up with an extremely exciting narrative which I hope you will approve of! I am just about to add it to my blog.
