Script For The Final Project

SCENE 1 - Opening Sequence (Int. Dark)

There has been a series of crimes committed recently and one of them is an extremely serious event, which took place in the Houses of Parliament. There has been a package taken from there. It is unsure who took the package and how, however it is Laurene’s mission to get it back.

Interrogation – Flashforward (Int. Dark)

Inside. Laurene is holding Dosh Longrin up against a wall, using interrogation to get answers out of him.

Laurene
Where’s the package?

Dosh Longrin
(Looking extremely confused and bewildered)
What package? I haven’t got a package.

Office Environment (Int. Dark)

Jo
Laurene, yesterday there was an extremely serious criminal offense committed in the Houses of Parliament. A package was taken from The Prime Minister's Office, which contained highly secure documents. We aren’t sure who has taken this package, but whoever it is won’t get away with it. There are a number of suspects who may have committed this crime and it’s your job to find them. I have a profile of 5 criminals who’re possibilities of the offense.

Interrogation – Flashforward (Int. Dark)

Heavy breathing from both men are heard and struggles are made from Dosh as Laurene holds a gun to his head.

Office Environment (Int. Dark)

Jo
Firstly, we have a highly skilled man, mainly involved in bank robberies, however he knows all of the tricks on how to enter buildings without being caught. He goes by the name of Dosh Longrin aka ‘Gaff’ as he is also known. He is wanted for millions, however no one is able to catch him.

Secondly, we have Vladmimir Minsk of the Russian Mafia, also known as Thundersteel. He is also a highly skilled criminal, well known for steeling jewellery from many expensive areas. He also owes thousands back to the government, however he manages to leave the scene without a trace.

The third suspect is extremely unusual as he makes a clear entrance, yet it is unclear to what he takes whilst he is inside. He goes by the name of Smashup Frobo and is well known in the criminal world. He is highly respected by other villains.

Aside, from the men, we have a woman who is extremely well known for car theft and she goes by the name of The Hay Meister. She manages to pick her moment and pounce when the time is right, however she hides her thefts too well and the cars are never found or seen again.

Last but not least, Mrs Fangtastic, also high up in the car theft business, however she goes for larger vehicles such as vans as they work well in the long run to hide stolen goods. She has been caught a few times however, managed to escape and has never been seen since.

Your mission Laurene is to find out which of them did it. But for god’s sake, please don’t go on a killing streak. Report back to me with the verdict.

Laurene gets up and leaves; ready to take on the mission.

Interrogation – Flashforward (Int. Dark)

Laurene
Well then, have we any last words?

Dosh Longrin
It wasn’t me, I swear!

Laurene
Save your breath

Laurene cocks the gun ready to shoot.

Dosh Longrin
It wasn’t me, I don’t have the package, but I know who does

Laurene holds the gun closer to Dosh’s head and looks him in the eyes.

Dosh Longrin
You’ll find them at 24 Park West Side, just past the canal, if you go now, they’ll be there

Laurene backs away from Dosh.

Dosh Longrin
Am I free to go then?

Laurene gives an evil laugh.

Bond
Nice try

Laurene then shoots Dosh.

  1. I think you've captured the style quite well, although the names are a little too OTT for a serious Bond/ spy movie. You might want to go for codenames (for example, "Dosh Longrin, codename "Gaff"... Vladmimir Minsk of the Russian Mafia, codename "Thundersteel" etc.

I would suggest not using the name Bond - firstly, it would be an issue with regard to copywrite and secondly I think you should go for something more original. How about "Strange" or "Sullivan", something a little less obvious?

Rather than "The Presidential Suite" I would say "The Prime Minister's Office"...

I would read through the script a few times, just to make sure you're happy with how it reads.

  2. I've changed a few of the characters names and I have chosen to call the 'Bond' Character ... Laurene.

I thought it was quite a spy-ish name!

    What do you think?
