I sat down with Paul (who is sorting my audio) yesterday night and we had numerous problems, trying to get iMovie compatible with the software that Paul is using on a Windows laptop.
After many attemps of exporting my film from iMovie in different formats including: MV4 and Quicktime, we came up with the solution of placing the software onto my Mac.
After about an hour, it finally downloaded on to laptop and we managed to import my film into there and then export it, managing to get in onto Pauls laptop, as he has the plugins needed to sort out my audio (it was a very time consuming process...as you can probably tell!)
But after all of that, we managed to get it to work on Pauls laptop and now he has the task of improving the audio, enabling me to sit down with him and add in the incidental music, title sequence song and sound effects, as I deleted them from my film before I exported it from iMovie so that Paul could improve them on his software.
So, I am now waiting for Paul's update on the audio and then I can crack on and get everything done!
I hope you manage to get everything sorted with the sound - you can tell you've put so much hard work into this. I'm sure it's going to be absolutely fantastic!
