I have just finished drawing up my storyboards, 6 pages later, and I am now just scanning them in in preparation for my animatic storyboard.
In my storyboard I haven't included what credits or music I am planning on using, as I haven't decided what to use yet. I am going to include my credits on my animatic and import them using the transitions on iMovie. Also, I am wanting to get my animatic finished before I decide what music I use because I am using quite a lot of suspence building sound effects, so it may be the case what I don't actually need to use music.
Last night, I was doing some research into what sound effects iMovie offers, and they're actually very good! I have chosen a few, including: a heartbeat and a knock on a door, which will be extremely useful.
Although I have only research two opening sequences, True Blood and Dexter, I have developed a clear understanding of the codes and conventions included in horror opening sequences and I feel like I am capable now to produce my own animatic version.
Once I have uploaded my storyboards to my blog, I will then import them into iMovie and get ready to produce my animated storyboard.
I am looking forward to doing that, and hopefully it will be a fairly easy process as I am now more familiar with the software that I am using, although I have no doubt that some problems will arise. I will inform of those as soon as they occur!
Well, I am just waiting for the rest of the storyboard sheets to finish being scanned and then I shall upload them straight away and you can let me know what you think!
Thanks :)))
